Some pics from Christmas when Elaine and Tim came down. As you can see the cats
are right in the middle of things, the center of attention as usual.
I had some people over for New Years. These pics are from dinner where we had Fondue!
Started off with a cheese fondue, then the main course and then finished it with dessert -
chocolate fondue mmmmmm! After dinner some more people came over and we celebrated
New Years like usual.

My mom and I drove to Kingston to visit Tim and Elaine for the weekend. We hung out,
went out for Vietnamese food, talked and laughed! Sunday morning we went to their church,
called the Next Church. The
congregation was very young with lots of babies and toddlers running around the place. It
had a different feel to it, a modern feel with a live band, and you didn't actually feel like you

feel to them, and you feel very at home and comfortable. I've added some before pics
so you can see just how extensive the renovations are. Renovations have started on the hall,
then the upstairs will get worked on. I'm anxious to see what they do with the rest of the
house!
I was playing around with my camera, and took a picture from the same spot with
and without the flash. I then blended the two images together, to get the brights
from the one picture and the darks from the other. It didn't work so well, and the
whole thing looks rather dull now. Enh ...

Halloween! I spent the evening at Bahar's with her cousins handing out candy.
There weren't very many kids out, and some of them passed us by -- probably because
Sal was washing his car (again), Mo was playing guitar and we were all just hanging
around the front. We were so desparate for kids that Mo even tried giving away Jedi!
However there were no takers.
