Elaine came and took the two dressers that I was using in my room. I didn't have
anywhere to put my clothes so I piled some against the wall and threw the rest on my
chair. The cats love clothes laying around and will sit in them if they can, preferrably
if they just came out of the dryer. Anyways Maggie's in the picture somewhere, see if
you can find her! The other pic is my fridge after mom went away for two weeks. I got
lazy and didn't bother restocking it until the day before she came home! shhhhh!
The house is undergoing some renovations in preparation of selling it next summer.
Here the old crappy cupboards were replaced with nice (real) oak doors and trim. The floor
is also new, however in these pics they are the same floor. The pictures really don't show
just how much the new cupboards improve the overall look of the kitchen.
(as usual, there is a cat somewhere in the pic ...)
Gwen's brother is a collector of computer junk. Stuff that works, but is a little
outdated. Anyways he moved to BC and left all the junk with Gwen. Gwen didn't want it
anymore, so I happily loaded up my car with all the junk. 2 14" monitors, old Macintosh
computers, a couple Pentium computers, some cases, various bits and pieces like cables,
floppy drives, CD-ROM's, and hard drives ranging from 20 megabytes to a 2 gigabyte SCSI.
This is my car literally FULL!
I had an interesting experience this summer. In the winter, I
had put a pop can in my glove compartment and forgot about it. Summer rolls around,
and I'm driving home on the highway after work. All of a sudden, I hear this massive
BANG and it scared the crap out of me! I'm thinking, wtf was that, did something hit
my car?? I look over and see all this foam coming out of the glove box, and it smells
like soda. I'm thinking, did someone throw a drink into my car?? I looked at my windows
but they were closed. It took a few minutes, but I finally figured out what it was. I
opened up the glove box and saw the blown up pop can. (once again, a cat gets in the
way of a picture ...)

The second cottage trip this summer. This time I rode my bike up, its about
2 hours from Burlington. My bike had the 'streetfighter' look going, I had just taken
off the fairings to do some work on it and an oil change and didn't have time to put them
back on. I rode with Dan, who had Amber as his passenger, and Adrian drove, and met up
with the crew in Wasaga. We took airport rode up, a fast winding road with tons of
scenery as you can see in the previous cottage pics. So although my bike is packed up
in the picture, that was just from work to Adrian's house, where we threw all our bags
into Adrian's car.

The first of our two cottage trips up to Wasaga beach. I drove my Oldsmobile with
Adrian, and Dan and Amber went on his bike. As usual there was lots of movies, games, steaks
and drugs as you can see from Adrian's trackmarks. No just kidding, haha, Adrian is
taking a laboratory technician course, and they had to practice taking blood using
needles on each other. Doesn't THAT sound like fun eh!?!
We played lots of games including scrabble and monopoly. As you can see by the
complexity of words we used, we are all well versed in the english language. The monopoly
game was rather entertaining. We were all doing ok, but Dave was the first to get a set.
He built up houses and the rest of us scrambled to make sets. Adrian had a knack for
landing on Dave's property and was soon going broke. I had one set and Park Place and some
other single properties, so I traded all my properties to Adrian for Boardwalk and some cash, and
built up hotels on my new prized set. Unfortunately no one was landing on it, and
landing on Dave's hotels as he laughed manically. Anyways Dave quickly built up his empire
and destroyed us.
The ride home. I was with Adrian in my car, following Dan and Amber. It was late May,
however it was still chilly out so Dan and Amber had to wear some warm clothes. The
scenery along airport road is fantastic, long open curvy roads. It wasn't a long
weekend so traffic was fairly light.

Pictures of Bahar and I, and her friends. We can never seem to get
a decent picture together. The middle pic is from when we went to see
Mamma Mia, a very good, funny performance. She seems to like my jacket, and it
looks really good on her too! (and NO you can't have my jacket!!)
There's 'TC', aka the Pissinator as is affectionately known to Dan and
Amber. He gets upset when you aren't around too much. He is probably the most affectionate
cat I've ever seen, he will let you do anything to him, and he loves it as you can see
from Dan choking him. He's not really choking him, relax :) Finally a pic of Amber doing
what she does best -- race horses in Gallop Racer Gallop Racer for the PS2!!
